CBCR Final Report
GBA partnered with the Maryland Crime Research and Innovation Center (MCRIC) at the University of Maryland to conduct a rigorous 3-year evaluation of the Baybrook Violence Reduction Plan (BVRP).
MCRIC’s evaluation focused on the impact of GBA’s place-based interventions within our Violence Reduction Priority Areas, particularly changes in violent crime over time, as well as the individual outcomes of the Life Coaching program.

Collective Efficacy Survey Results
GBA conducted two large-scale randomized household surveys before and after implementation. The following document shows the results of these surveys analyzed in partnership with the University of Baltimore.

BVRP 24 Month Report
The BVRP is a community-led public safety strategy to reduce violence and increase the quality of life in the Brooklyn, Brooklyn Park, and Curtis Bay neighborhoods.
The BVRP consists of three primary components: (1) Youth Violence Prevention; (2) Youth Engagement; and (3) Community Projects/Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design.
The following is a report on the progress of the BVRP after 24 months of implementation. The report highlights 8 key performance measures.
