Facade Improvements

The Baybrook Retail Improvement Grant (BRIG) offers business owners funding to significantly improve commercial building exteriors in along key commercial corridors. The program is designed to catalyze low-cost high-impact investment along Baybrook's commercial corridor. The program improves sales and the economic performance of the neighborhood, increases foot traffic, and adds safety features.

Technical Assistance

Examples of technical assistance include one-on-one assistance in developing business plans, operations, accounting, marketing, social media presence, and other specialized consulting services to strengthen local businesses.

Baybrook Revitalization Fund

The Baybrook Revitalization Fund’s (BRF) mission is to build wealth and drive economic revitalization in distressed Baltimore-area neighborhoods by providing innovative financial and community development services to underserved businesses, organizations, and residents.

Brooklyn Business Association

GBA is building capacity for the emerging Brooklyn Business Association (BBA) to develop projects and initiatives that can tackle some of the pressing challenges facing the small business community in Brooklyn. GBA supported the BBA in applying for $24,000 from the Chesapeake Bay Trust to pilot a street cleaning initiative; these funds were awarded in March 2025.
