How do we identify projects?

GBA implements a "staircase" approach to community engagement. We aim to create opportunities with low barriers to entry that lead to more formal avenues of participation where we can identify mutual interests between residents and other stakeholders. Continually and equitably engaging the community is foundational to successfully implementing all of our other initiatives.

How are our projects funded?

GBA pursues a variety of local, state, federal and corporate funding sources to fund our work in both Baltimore City and Anne Arundel County. Please see our most recent 990 for more details about our financials, as well as our partners below for a sample of some of our funders.

How do we implement projects?

GBA continuously collects feedback and engagement from the community to inform our priorities and drive our work. The process from idea to implementation can be lengthy, sometimes spanning years. If you are looking for an update on any project, please reach out to us!
